California warns of 58,000 job losses if Paramount relocates

An internal Los Angeles County report estimates that moving Paramount out of California could result in nearly 58,000 job losses and $21 billion in annual economic damage. The company controlled by David Ellison is rejecting efforts by attorneys general and the WGA to block its $111 billion merger with Warner Bros Discovery. The deal is set to close on October 1.
