End of anonymous gold in EU: even one coin goes to data registry

The EU's AMLR regulation on preventing money laundering ends the era of anonymous purchases of precious metals, jewelry and cryptocurrencies. Every major cash transaction will require presenting an identity document, and the buyer's data will be entered into a state registry. The rules will cover purchases of even a single gold coin.
