Children with ADHD increasingly similar to peers without diagnosis
Danish researchers analyzed medical data from over 2 million people and found that children diagnosed in recent years with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder are showing fewer differences from peers without these diagnoses. The study results suggest that the boundaries between diagnosis and normality may be blurring, raising questions about diagnostic criteria used in child psychiatry.
