German mainstream quietly banking on return to Russian business, says expert

German affairs expert Krzysztof Rak said on Virtual Poland's "Bez Doktryny" podcast that the desire to resume economic ties with Russia is not confined to the far-right AfD but extends to mainstream German establishment circles. According to Rak, this reflects what he calls strict Kremlinology — the calculation that Germany is waiting for the moment when it can resume cooperation with Moscow.
