EU seeks ETS reform: 75% of revenues for industry, slower permit cuts

Peter Liese, the European Parliament's chief negotiator, has proposed that EU member states allocate 75% of emissions trading revenues to decarbonizing domestic industry. The draft also calls for a slower pace of permit reduction in the first half of the 2030s.
