Witnesses to Lublin July '80 reunite after 46 years

On Thursday, September 11, a meeting titled "August 1980 began with Lublin July" was held at the Lublin Provincial Office, organized by the Committee for the Defense of Democracy Lublin Region. Participants recalled workers' protests from summer 1980, initiated by a strike at WSK Świdnik, which sparked action at other regional plants. Organizers ensured the main voice came not from politicians but from direct witnesses to those events from 46 years ago.
