Moose in rut wander into cities: one spotted in Lublin
Autumn is the season of moose rut, when these animals travel greater distances and increasingly enter built-up areas. On Friday morning, a moose appeared on Diamentowa Street in Lublin, while other individuals were photographed on an overpass above an expressway. Moose are attracted to urban vegetation and easily available food. Services urge people not to approach the animals, as they are strong and unpredictable.
