From Sept. 21 e-TOLL exemption for 365,000 trailer-towing drivers

From September 21, 2026, drivers of cars and vans up to 3.5 t GVW towing a trailer will be exempt from e-TOLL system fees. Until now they paid like truck drivers and typically settled via prepaid account. The change affects about 365,000 people who may seek refunds of previously paid amounts.
