Third victim dies in Głogów Małopolski bypass crash, suspect flees
A third person injured in the August 22 crash on the Głogów Małopolski bypass has died, confirmed Krzysztof Ciechanowski, spokesman for the Rzeszów Regional Prosecutor's Office. 42-year-old Kamil B. in a BMW hit a properly driving Kia head-on while overtaking; two died at the scene. The suspect avoided arrest after a first-instance court decision citing his mental state, left a Rzeszów hospital without permission, and when an appeals court ordered arrest, he was found in Poznań — where he fled again. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
