Government prepares new e-scooter and e-bike homologation rules

Electric vehicles resembling bicycles but reaching much higher speeds are increasingly stopped during police checks. The government is preparing new homologation rules for e-scooters and e-bikes to curb use of non-compliant vehicles. The changes aim to reduce such vehicles on roads and pavements.
