BBN chief proposes automatic PESEL number registration for 19 million Poles

Bartosz Grodecki, head of the National Security Office, has proposed considering automatic PESEL number registration. The change could affect up to 19 million Poles whose data are at risk. Currently, PESEL registration requires an application filed by the individual.
