Wartime manuscript by German official acquired by Pilecki Institute

The Pilecki Institute's archive has been enriched with a 132-page unpublished manuscript written by a young German law doctor who worked in the civilian occupation administration of the General Governorship. The document describes daily life in the Radom ghetto, corruption, drunkenness, and reports of mass extermination of Jews — all recounted in a cold, bureaucratic tone. The manuscript reached the Polish institution thanks to a German donor who gave the family document in Berlin.
