Anthropic blocked five attempts to use Claude for biological weapons research

A new Anthropic report revealed five instances of "biological misuse" of the Claude model, with suspected users attempting to conduct research on deadly viruses and examine toxic properties of poisons. Anthropic says it successfully stopped these activities.
