ShieldCrash vulnerability in Windows 11 one day after Microsoft's record update

A cybersecurity researcher disclosed a vulnerability called ShieldCrash in Windows 11 literally one day after Microsoft released a record-breaking cumulative patch. The vulnerability allows reading files with SYSTEM privileges and resulted from an error left after fixing an earlier flaw. Though it does not enable full machine takeover, it could lay groundwork for one.
