ULA's financial troubles may force owners to sell the company

United Launch Alliance (ULA) — unlike SpaceX, Blue Origin or Rocket Lab — has not adopted a strategy based on rocket reusability or diversification of space services. The company's financial problems fuel speculation that its owners (Boeing and Lockheed Martin) may be forced to sell ULA. ULA's rivals are rapidly expanding in cargo, satellite and broadband connectivity segments, leaving the company behind.
