Houthis allegedly used AI deepfake of rival commander to trigger retreat

A recording has emerged in which a voice allegedly belonging to one of the key commanders fighting the Houthis appears to order a retreat. Analysts suggest the voice may have been generated or manipulated by artificial intelligence. If true, the Houthis would be among the first to use a deepfake voice for tactical purposes on the battlefield.
