Sejm Office: Nawrocki's demand on Constitutional Court judge oath is unlawful

Head of the Sejm Office Marek Siwiec informed President Karol Nawrocki that Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty expects immediate acceptance of the oath of Constitutional Court Judge Maciej Berek. The Presidential Palace questions the validity of Berek's election by the Sejm, but Siwiec stated that the president's position has no basis in law. The dispute concerns Constitutional Court appointments and is another episode in the conflict between the president and the Sejm.
