Man breaks into same Gołdapi store twice: 46-year-old arrested
In early August 2026, a man smashed a shop door window with a hammer in Gołdapi, stole a cash box and cigarettes, then returned the same night for tobacco products, e-cigarette cartridges, and alcohol. He gave part of the haul to an acquaintance for safekeeping. Detectives identified the 46-year-old, who was arrested; a 39-year-old suspected of fencing stolen goods was also detained. Both face charges.
