Rail authority demands urgent training after infant left alone on train
The Railway Transport Office has called on operators to conduct immediate training for train drivers, conductors, and managers following a series of dangerous incidents. One occurred on February 26, 2026, at Pietrzykowice Żywieckie station, where a mother with four children disembarked from a Silesian Railways train, leaving an infant in a stroller on board. The authority says repeated incidents during passenger changes at stations require practical refresher of procedures.
