ZUS contributions for self-employed top 2000 zloty per month for first time
Starting in the new year, full ZUS social contributions for self-employed entrepreneurs will exceed 2000 zloty per month for the first time in history, and together with health insurance the monthly cost will approach 2500 zloty. The increase stems from a rise in minimum wage, which forms the basis for calculating preferential ZUS, minimum health insurance contributions and the unregistered activity threshold. At the same time, the minimum hourly rate will increase, further raising labor costs for businesses.
