Coffins of von Hochbergs, lords of Książ castle, discovered in Świebodzice
On 28 August, an unexpected discovery was made in the vom Kramsta family mausoleum at the municipal cemetery in Świebodzice. During architectural and conservation documentation, heavily damaged coffins and Baroque sarcophagi in the upper part of the structure turned out to belong not to the vom Kramsta manufacturers, but to members of the von Hochberg family — owners of Książ castle — who died in the 18th and 19th centuries.
