Archaeologists uncover untouched Chimu mausoleum beneath Peru's sands

Archaeologists have discovered intact tombs belonging to the Chimu culture in Peru — the first burials of this civilization known to have escaped looting for centuries. One researcher called the find "the discovery of the decade." The mausoleum has been remarkably preserved under a layer of sand.
