Russian Orthodox Church sends medieval prince's relics to soldiers in Ukraine

The Russian Orthodox Church has transported a fragment of the right hand bone of Dmitri Donskoy — a 14th-century prince celebrated for his 1380 victory over the Golden Horde — to the front in eastern Ukraine. The reliquary is to be carried along the front lines to, the Church says, "spiritually strengthen" soldiers and help them achieve victory.
