26-year-old motorcyclist killed on S12/17 near Bystrzejowice

A fatal accident occurred around 15:40 on expressway S12/17 between Lublin and Piąski, near Bystrzejowice. A 26-year-old driving a Suzuki from Stary Zamość municipality overtook another motorcycle and then attempted to pass a Mercedes bus. While doing so, he struck the bus's rear left corner and hit an energy-absorbing barrier — he died at the scene.
