Polish Constitutional Court rules EU court cannot assess Polish judges

Poland's Constitutional Court has ruled that the EU Court of Justice has no right to assess the propriety of Polish judicial appointments or interfere in Polish courts. The court also deemed the transfer of Supreme Court judges between chambers constitutional. The ruling strengthens the position of so-called neo-judges in their dispute with Brussels.
