Interior Ministry exempts small buildings without basements from shelter requirement

Under a new Interior Ministry regulation, public utility buildings with an internal area of up to 5,000 square meters that do not have underground floors will be exempted from the obligation to provide protective structures. The exemption applies to buildings without basements, meaning larger or basements buildings still must meet the shelter requirement.
