From March 2026, sell your home without energy certificate? Face 5,000 PLN fine

Starting March 2026, property owners must have an energy certificate when selling or renting a house or apartment. Failure to present it risks a fine up to 5,000 PLN. The obligation has existed in Poland for three years, but new European Commission guidelines will tighten its enforcement.
