NBP keeps rates unchanged: reference rate remains 3.75 percent

The Monetary Policy Council held the NBP reference rate at 3.75 percent in September. For borrowers this is good news — but short-term: rising inflation, high fuel prices and energy tensions mean the market is pricing in a return to rate hikes. In such a scenario, a mortgage payment on 400,000 zlotys could rise by about 200 zlotys monthly.
