30 kg of mephedrone found in Honda trunk on A2, man detained
On August 19, officers of the Poznań police regional headquarters stopped a Honda Accord driver on highway A2 near Nowy Tomyśl with 30 kg of mephedrone in the trunk. In the man's apartment in Kościan, police found an additional 40 g of cocaine and nearly 14,000 zloty in cash — total black market value exceeded 200,000 zloty. Two days later, a 23-year-old was detained in Poznań with another batch of mephedrone. The first suspect was charged with drug trafficking; he faces up to 12 years in prison; the court ordered his remand in custody.
