Warsaw: 26-year-old detained for year-long abuse of wife

Police from Bielan detained a 26-year-old after his wife came to the station. Investigation found the man choked, grabbed, and kicked his wife over nearly a year and directed vulgar words at her. He was charged with abuse of a close family member and placed under police supervision. He faces up to 5 years in prison.
