Illegal distillery found on allotments in Hajnówka: nearly 500 liters of mash

Officers of the Customs and Tax Service from Bobrowniki discovered illegal alcohol production in an outbuilding on Family Garden Plots in Hajnówka. The search uncovered almost 500 liters of mash, 7.5 liters of finished alcohol without Polish excise marks, and production equipment. A 47-year-old man was detained and confessed. He faces a fine, restricted liberty, or up to 3 years in prison.
