Corruption scandal involving MP Król: two Silesian businessmen arrested

Krzysztof Seredyński and Piotr W., businessmen from Silesian province, have been charged with providing financial benefits to MP Wojciech Król, head of the National Media Council. At the request of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, a court ordered their three-month detention. Król himself was suspended from membership in the Civic Coalition club and lost his position as deputy club chair.
