Hackers attacked clinics on Ursynów, demanded ransom for encrypted emails

Cybercriminals breached the mail server of a municipal clinic network on Ursynów in Warsaw, encrypted emails and demanded ransom for their recovery. The facility refused to pay. An expert warns that the compromised mailbox could be used for phishing attacks targeting both patients and other institutions.
