Pennsylvania: two infants died after measles, virus caused one death
Lancaster County coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni confirmed that two infants died from measles last month. The virus was the direct cause of one death; in the second case, the doctor also linked the death to measles and reported it to the CDC. The CDC has not yet announced whether it will count both cases as measles-related deaths — its website still contains reservations on the matter.
