Iran referred to UN Security Council for nuclear non-proliferation treaty violations

The UN Security Council will take up Iran's case after the country was reported for violating the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Tehran denies the charges and blames U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities for obstruction of inspections. The matter could lead to new international sanctions.
