Poland guaranteed two teams in UEFA league phase from 2027/28 season

From the 2027/28 season, two Polish clubs will have guaranteed participation in European cup league phases. The Polish champion will enter from the 4th qualifying round of the Champions League; the Polish Cup winner from the 4th round of the Europa League. Ekstraklasa SA operational director Marcin Stefański emphasized that 12th place in the UEFA ranking "opens new perspectives" and will make club budget planning easier.
