Bulgaria implements DAC8 directive: end to crypto anonymity for tax authorities

Bulgaria's parliament passed legislation aligning with the EU's DAC8 directive, which took effect early this year. Tax officials will gain access to identifying data of persons behind each cryptocurrency transaction. The changes mean an end to anonymity in Bulgaria's crypto market regarding tax authorities.
