Microsoft, teachers union set AI rules for schools

Microsoft has reached an agreement with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) — the second-largest teachers union in the US — on AI safety and privacy in schools. The deal came a week after two large school districts announced a ban on students using AI tools. The agreement also includes the New York chapter of AFT, the United Federation of Teachers.
