AfD at 45% support in eastern Germany, Left party second ahead of CDU

According to the latest Forsa poll, the AfD enjoys 45 percent support in eastern German states. The Left party came second with 15 percent, while the Christian Democratic CDU placed third with 12 percent. Results show a vast gap between east and west on political preferences.
