Serbian denied German entry after border guard marked passport with "C"

A Serb attempting to cross into Germany was shocked when a border officer, instead of issuing a standard stamp, wrote the letter "C" in pen in his passport. The man could not enter the country and had to fly back from Berlin. The meaning of the notation and the circumstances of the incident were not clarified in detail by the German side.
