Chojnik Castle warns: flying ants swarm tourists on the tower

Several times a year, an unusual phenomenon occurs at Chojnik Castle tower in the Karkonosze Mountains — swarms of flying ants descend on tourists at the summit. Castle management posted a warning: "By purchasing an entrance ticket, you accept their presence and any resulting inconvenience." The summer ant swarming season is a natural biological phenomenon.
