Russian forces 15 km from Slovyansk and Kramatorsk: test for Ukraine's new commander

Russian forces have advanced to less than 15 kilometers from Slovyansk and Kramatorsk — key cities in the northern part of Donetsk region. According to Reuters, defending these cities during Russia's expected winter offensive will be the first major test for Ukraine's new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Mykhailo Drapaty.
