"Bank employee" scam: 56-year-old from Krasneystaw lost 110,000 zlotys
On September 3, a 56-year-old woman in Krasneystaw county received a call from a woman posing as a parabank employee, warning of credit fraud attempts using her identity. Then other scammers called, convincing her that her savings were at risk and must be immediately "secured." The perpetrators knew her bank account details. The woman ultimately lost 110,000 zlotys.
