Murder in Wołczyn: men aged 20 and 25 admit guilt
On 3 March 2026, a 37-year-old's body was found in a watercourse in Wołczyn. The same day, police detained two men — a 20-year-old hiding in a basement and a 25-year-old hiding in a tree stand in the forest. They were initially charged with assault, but after further investigation under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Opole, the charges were changed to murder. Both admitted to the alleged act.
