Brent oil near 100 dollars: up over 60 percent in a year

Brent crude has risen more than 60 percent since the start of the year and is approaching 100 dollars per barrel. Brokers warn that three-digit prices are becoming increasingly likely. Oil products have risen even more — U.S. diesel prices have reached their highest level since mid-2022, exceeding the peak from the early stages of Middle East conflict escalation.
