EU court ruling may simplify Polish franc-loan settlements
The EU Court of Justice will issue a ruling this Thursday that could fundamentally change how franc-denominated loans are settled in Poland. If the court accepts the balance theory, settlements between banks and borrowers will become simpler and the number of court cases could drop significantly, according to lawyer Konrad Trzaskowski of KKG Legal. The expert considers it one of the most important rulings in franc-loan cases.
