NSA, FBI and CISA: China massively copying American AI models

The NSA, FBI and CISA have warned that Chinese AI companies are conducting "aggressive, industrial-scale" distillation of leading American artificial intelligence models. This method allows China to replicate the capabilities of large models at low cost without developing advanced technologies independently. This is one of the first such unequivocal joint warnings from U.S. agencies on the matter.
