Polish primary school enrollment fell by more than a quarter in a decade

According to Eurostat data, the number of primary school pupils in Poland in 2024 was 25.7 percent lower than in 2014 — the largest relative decline among all EU countries. Over the same period, the EU average rose by 2.9 percent. This represents a loss of more than half a million students over the decade.
