DeepMind creates genome atlas: AlphaGenome model analyzes 9 billion mutations
Scientists at Google DeepMind published results of their work on the AlphaGenome model in the journal Nature. The artificial intelligence can predict the effects of changing each individual letter in the human genome — roughly 9 billion possible mutations in total. It is a breakthrough in understanding how genetic variants influence diseases and organism traits.
