Germany defends before UN 800 million euro arms export to Israel

Germany appeared before the UN International Court of Justice defending its arms exports to Israel — in the first half of the year it sent military equipment, including a submarine, worth 800 million euros. Nicaragua accuses Berlin of complicity in genocide in Gaza. The case could have serious political and legal consequences for Germany.
